Hochiminh City approving a lot of project plannings

Specifically, at Hoang Dieu-Nguyen Huu Hao corner (District 4), The City approved of construction of high rise apartment-commercial-service-parking Complex. Binh Duong Joint Stock Company is assigned to perform the resettlement for impacted households and meet fully the requirement of construction of public facilities as per stipulated in project construction standards.


Similarly, Saigon Petro Drilling Services Joint Stock Company was allowed to change the land use at No.259 Dien Bien Phu Str., Ward 7, District 3 into office-for-lease building.


A series of addresses such as No.27A Ky Dong (District 3), No.17 Le Minh Xuan ( Tan Binh District), No.4-6 Ho Tung Mau (District 1), No.161 Le Hong Phong (District 5) were also planned as office buildings. As for Apartment block No.319 Ly Thuong Kiet, District 11, the City approved of commercial and office building function in combination with urban rehabilitation.


For gold locations located at central business district such as No.8-12 Le Duan Boulavard (District 1), No.8-8 Bis Pham Ngoc Thach and No.2 Cong Truong Quoc Te (District 3), the City approved of building high-end Hotels.


The far areas but closed the gateway of wholesale markets such as No.100 Phan Van Khoe Str. (District 6) were approved of being commercial-service centers. Meanwhile, No.25 Bac Ai road of Thu Duc District was allowed for villas, not high rise apartments.


At the moment, Department of Architecture and Planning of City is assigned to finalise detail plans of inner wards, districts to connect with the general panorama of City. Planned in the next March, the masterplan of extended current central business district of the City shall be reported to City’s People’s Council by City’s People’s Committee for approval. According to the masterplan, extended current central business district of the City shall include a part of District 1,3,4 and Binh Thanh with total land area of 930ha.
