Nguyen Kim Thu - General Director
Mrs. Thu has been working for HCMC Urban Planning Institute from 1987 to 2007. She was principle architect in charge of planning District 10, Binh Tan District, Binh Chanh District and managing Urban Planning Division 2 of Urban Planning Institute, managing the master planning of Districts 7, 8, 10, Binh Tan District , Binh Chanh District, Nha Be, Can Tho and Saigon South Urban Area.
While working at UPI, she had been attending many international post‐graduate training courses in Sweden, Philippines Belgium and Australia on urban planning, architecture, infrastructure development and urban management. She completed Master Program on System Engineering, majoring in project management at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia in 2002.
She has done many projects such as Construction master planning 1/5000, detailed planning 1/2000, 1/5000 civil and industrial projects. She also won prizes in urban planning as welll as certificates of merit from Chairman of City People’s Committee for her contributions in HCMC urban development. In 2007, Mrs. Thu co‐founded Richland Corporation . She has been the CEO of the firm ever since.
